From March 1, Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei, will launch an international cargo airline to Mumbai of India. It will become another important international cargo air route in this city, second to the Wuhan- Dhaka opened in August last year.
It was introduced that all-cargo aircraft B747-200F will undertake the flights two times a week with five hours and fifty minutes in a single trip. The cargoes mainly include electronic products, textiles, construction equipments and other high value-added goods.
Mumbai, India’s largest seaport and the largest city in west India, has always been playing an important role in "Belt and Road" Initiative. The launching of Wuhan- Mumbai cargo air route will give impetus to the commercial intercourse between Wuhan and South Asia as well as attract more customers from home and abroad.
As the unique air cargo company in central China, Uni-Top Airlines has opened routes linking Wuhan and Madras, Delhi, Bangkok, Dubai, Alma-Ata, Aktobe, Kathmandu, Karachi, Bangalore, Astana, Ashgabat, Yangon, Dhaka, Bishkek, etc. It owns three B747-200F and seven A300-600R all-cargo aircrafts.
In the near future, it aims to establish an airline network covering Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa, so as to offer a complete air cargo service for the exports of electronic and other related industries.
