The Jiufengshan Laboratory's compound semiconductor pilot platform was selected as part of the first batch of national manufacturing pilot platforms announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Dec. 11, representing the sole platform from the integrated circuit sector.
The selection for national manufacturing pilot platforms aims to systematically build a modern pilot system. This rigorous process involved local recommendations, formal reviews, multiple rounds of expert evaluations, and on-site inspections. Out of over 2,400 platforms nationwide, 21 were selected, representing the pinnacle of national standards.
