A drone photo taken on Jan. 28, 2026 shows high-speed trains at a maintenance depot in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The trains are ready for the country's upcoming annual Spring Festival travel rush, also known as chunyun, which begins on Feb. 2 in 2026. Each year during this peak travel season, millions of people working, studying or living away from their hometowns return home for the Spring Festival, forming the world's largest annual human migration.
