The Wuhan branch of Suzhou Sushi Testing Group Co in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) is making significant strides in delivering advanced testing services for the high-end manufacturing sector.

Founded in 2019, the Wuhan branch focuses on services such as environmental reliability testing and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing.
"The Wuhan branch has experienced rapid growth in the automotive, marine, and aerospace sectors, with a full order book," said Ma Tao, general manager of the Wuhan branch.
He attributes this success to the group's robust technical service capabilities. In EMC testing, for instance, the company provides authoritative assessments and offers problem diagnosis and rectification services.
Engineers deliver on-site professional guidance to clients facing testing challenges, shortening the R&D cycle for small and medium-sized enterprises. The Wuhan team has expanded to over 100 members, more than 60 percent of whom are technical and testing engineers.
Sushi Testing made another investment in 2025 to establish its Central China headquarters in WEDZ. The new facility aims to enhance its testing capabilities with larger, more advanced equipment, including EMC chambers and large-scale environmental test cabins suitable for whole-vehicle testing. The project is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
"Wuhan's robust new energy vehicle industrial cluster and the rapid growth of the aerospace industry offer significant opportunities to expand commercial aerospace testing services," Ma Tao noted.
Ma added that the Wuhan branch will focus on three emerging fields: new energy vehicle testing, green power testing, and commercial aerospace testing, while continuing to strengthen existing businesses.
The new headquarters will serve as a comprehensive hub for high-end environmental reliability testing services, core equipment R&D and manufacturing, technical solution innovation, and regional operations management, supporting high-end manufacturing industrial clusters in Central China and across the country.
Sushi Testing, founded in 1956 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2015, is a pioneer in China's environmental and reliability sector, being the first company of its kind to go public.
