Children's art exhibition in WEDZ

Visitors at children’s art exhibition in WEDZ

An art exhibition showcasing creative works by children opened on April 26 in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ).

The exhibition, featuring a warm, bright palette of reds, yellows, and blues, includes lively watercolor and oil paintings as well as sketches inspired by the everyday experiences of children.

Each piece captures the warmth of family life or the dynamic growth of the city. Iconic landmarks such as the Yellow Crane Tower, the Yangtze River Bridge, and bustling street scenes are brought to life with unique vitality by these young talents.

Accompanying each artwork are handwritten expert reviews, providing a fresh and heartfelt dialogue between the pieces and their viewers.

Zhao Yuming, a student representative and exhibitor, shared her enthusiasm: "I believe art isn't an ethereal castle in the sky but is rooted in the every details of our lives. Without complex compositions or elaborate ideas, art is simply the most natural form of life."

The exhibition is open to the public free of charge and will run until May 10.
